Shipping to the United States – Duties, Taxes & Clearance Fees
As of August 29, 2025, U.S. Customs regulations have changed. Low-value shipments under 800 USD that were previously exempt from import duties (the so-called de minimis rule) are no longer automatically duty-free. This means that orders shipped to the United States, even in the range of USD $10–$500, may now be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs inspections.Import Duties & Taxes
  • The exact amount of duty depends on the product’s official tariff classification (HTS code). Usually it is between 2.5 % - 6 %.
  • Some categories remain duty-free, while others may be charged a few percent or more.
  • U.S. Customs determines the applicable rate at the time of import.
  • Import duties and taxes are always the responsibility of the recipient (the U.S. buyer/consignee).
Clearance / Brokerage Fees Charged by Carriers
In addition to any government duties or taxes, shipping carriers (such as FedEx, UPS, or Spring) typically charge a customs clearance or brokerage fee for processing your shipment through U.S. Customs.
  • These fees are set by the carrier, not by us.
  • They usually range from about $5 to $45 per shipment, depending on the carrier, the declared value, and the type of service required.
  • The carrier will either invoice you directly or collect the fee at delivery.
What This Means for You
  • Your order total on our website does not include U.S. duties, taxes, or carrier clearance fees.
  • These additional costs may apply once the package arrives in the United States.
  • To avoid surprises, please be prepared that the final landed cost (item price + shipping + duties + clearance fees) may be higher than the checkout amount.

Physical Products:

All physical products are shipped from the Czech Republic (European Union).

🇪🇺 EU & UK orders
• Taxes (VAT) are calculated at checkout.
• For UK orders under £135, VAT is collected at checkout.
• For UK orders over £135, the shipment is sent DAP — you may need to pay VAT and customs to local authorities upon delivery.

🌎 Rest of the world
• Orders are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place).
• Import taxes, duties, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.

    • Carrier: PostNL International (final delivery handled by local postal services).
    • Economical option with tracking and insurance included.
    • Delivery Times:
      • EU & UK: 5-18 business days
      • Outside EU: 10-28 business days

  2. Express Tracked Post Shipping / DHL / GLS / PPL / PL Inpost / UPS:

    • Carriers: Courier services including UPS, DHL, GLS, PPL (for Czech Republic and international), and Inpost (for Poland).
    • Fast and reliable option with tracking and insurance provided.
    • Delivery Times:
      • EU & UK: 2-5 business days
      • Outside EU: 2-14 business days

  3. Packeta Pick-Up Points:

    • Carrier: Zásilkovna, Packeta, or Packeta partner pick-up points (https://www.packeta.com/).
    • Convenient for customers who prefer pick-up locations. Tracking and insurance provided.
    • Delivery Time: 1-8 business days, depending on the destination.

  4. FedEx Express Delivery:

    • Available to the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Hong Kong, China, and the UK.
    • Fast air shipment, particularly cost-effective for larger or heavier packages (above 1 kg).
    • Includes tracking and insurance.
    • Delivery Time: 1-7 business days

Digital Products:

All digital products (e.g., games, guides) are sent immediately to the email address provided at checkout.
